Snowpocolypse

We survived the storm!!
Carter, Jason and Uncle Kenny played in the snow yesterday! We got close to 2 feet of snow... SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Jason and Carter were riding down the middle of the road in the sled... not the safest thing, but they had a blast!!

He loves to eat the snow... luckily the dogs weren't out in the snow yet...

Daddy is training him to pull the sled...

That didn't last long... I think he might have caught on daddy!

Jason also took this opportunity to teach Carter how to shovel the sidewalk... that also didn't last too long! I have taught my son well!

Eatin' the snow... again.

Kenny dropped him feet first into the snow... look at where it comes to! He found this absolutely hilarious!

All of the men on the farm couldn't wait for the snow to stop so they could begin their snow removal duties. Nothing was safe... nothing! The tractors were out in full force!

'BIG' pile of snow... as Carter called it.

Elliot finally lost his bellybutton last week... and we have really been enjoying bathtime this week. He loves it!

This baby is well-fed... don't you think? Check out that gut!

He is already working on his surprise face... Carter's gonna have a little competition i think!

Elliot was enjoying his QUIET tummy time on the floor... and in walks brother...
He just wanted to give him a little hug... right?

'Don't look at me... I didn't do anything!'
I am constantly asking Carter to give Elliot some space... but that never happens.

I don't even have words...

Melt my heart!!
These two boys are buddies!

Got Jam???

So my son has developed a weird and disgusting habit....
He is obsessed with toe jam!
Every time we come in the door from being out... the socks come off and we are searching for toe jam.
When we are home... he refuses to wear socks and is searching for toe jam.
Carter will plop down anywhere and everywhere to pick his toe jam. And will proudly announce when he has found some! It's very exciting! (sarcasm)
Oh... and might I add... he is not afraid to pick other toes for toe jam. I was nursing Elliot yesterday... and my socks were ripped off and he was searching in every 'nook and cranny' for some toe jam... When that search resulted in nothing... he moved on to his brothers toes.
What a ham!

My little angel. Elliot is doing very well and adjusting to life in this crazy house.

Most days Elliot will sleep 3 to 4 hour stretches, wake up to eat, play a little and then pass back out. So far so good!!!!

LOVE this hat... he is too stinkin cute in it!

These two are absolute buddies. Carter can't keep his hands off of him!

A Monkey and Ice Cream

It was quite an interesting Halloween this year. I didn't realize that when I bought this adorable monkey suit... it would suit him so well. I bought it several months ago and since then, he has been practicing the part... as you can see.

We didn't take him door to door this year... cause that would involve a lot of driving for us... so we compromised. Friday I took him to Patty's, Mom's, and Dad's work. The kid got so much loot... I'm glad we didn't do the door to door thing. Jason and I will be eating TONS of candy for quite some time!
He was quite exhausted from the busy morning of performing for everyone... He collapsed on the market floor...

There was a banana attached to the sleeve... and he 'ate' it all day long.

The infamous 'surprise face'... need I say more?

Nana brought Ice Cream cones for dessert one night... definitely a hit with Carter. He ate the entire thing! As you can see, he was eating it from both ends....

Yummy in my tummy!

Hamball!

Carter is quite the character. He loves his dogs. He wrestles every time he gets the opportunity. Obviously Mickey has retired the idea that Carter needs to leave him alone... and goes with the flow. These two are the best of buds.

We have discovered coloring. And we absolutely love coloring. There isn't a day that we aren't coloring.
We color everything that we can get our hands on...
Did I mention that he likes to eat the crayons and markers? Yummy! Many of our markers and crayons are missing their tips... he gets those suckers in his mouth before I even know it!

Carter loves his daddy... they are buddies.

We have been so busy this past month picking pumpkins. Carter absolutely loved this pumpkin season. He came out the the patch with us on several occasions... picking pumpkins and dirt of course!

Carter has decided that his name is Gus and he is 2.
People are constantly asking his name and age when we are out and about... and he responds 'Gus' and '2', without skipping a beat. I guess I should have named him Gus....

Golfin' with the guys

The Fire Department had their annual golf outing at the end of August and Carter really enjoyed himself. We arrived early for the outing so I could help with registering all the men and Carter took that extra time as an opportunity for Daddy to teach him a thing or two about golf.

"I didn't get a bit of that golfing business, Mommy. Can we go shopping instead?"

Cheeseball!
